Registration

The child can register for a discussion group by filling out and submitting the registration form to the Family Law Administration by e-mail at famf@famf.fo or by regular mail to The Family Law Administration (Familjufyrisitingin), undir Bryggjubakka 27, 100 Tórshavn - or by handing it in at the Family Law Administration office.

The parent with whom the child resides (the residence parent) can register the child for discussion group alone or together with the other parent (the contact parent). Both parents are invited to an informational meeting, and it is to the benefit of the child if both parents attend.

When we have received a registration, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. The groups will be divided by the children’s ages and location. Therefore, we are unable to state a specific date for when your child will be able to attend a discussion group. It all depends on when there are enough children registered in a group.
