Educational contribution
If parent who is liable to pay is maintaing a child enrolled in education, the Family Law Administration may, in some cases, determine a contribution that will continue after the child turns 18.
The contribution can, at most, remain in effect until the child turns 24, and ceases if the child is no longer enrolled in education. The contribution is only determined if the parent liable to pay has a reasonably high income.
The standard amount of educational contribution is the same as the amount for regular child maintenance.
See guidelines for the calculation of educational contribution and payment amounts here.
